I've had to turn off the Peertube server, since paying 60 SGD per month for just a handful of views is not worth it.
I'm putting some of my Kap screenshares on youtube for now, even though it gives me a horrible bad taste in my mouth.
If anyone has some suggestions for alternatives that are less costly, I'd love to hear them.

@loke Even if it's hiding it or preventing others from stepping in the dirt - it is the next best thing to do for now.
So you might have ideal situations you want but since you are doing it anyway the best thing for now is use that kind of link instead of direct as it is being sent out to potentially 10's of people or 100's of people.
Does it make sense not to simply change the front part of the link?

Didn't say you would use it even as 2nd best or 50th best way... can't see why not...
I would usually push for reasoning - but can you just say more Y / N to using invidious more than not and ending my line of asking / recommending?
@freeschool Your comments have caused be to rethink the entire idea of uploading to youtube in the first place.
Of course invidious is better than not using it, and in the case I need to link to one of the videos, I'd definitely use it if I remember to.

@freeschool Invidious just hides the problem up google abusing people's content. I'd much prefer to not upload anything to them at all.
I really need to find a peertube server that is reliable (I've had issues with my instance). I'd definitely pay for it, just not 60 dollars per month.
