I help people create audio / edit educational audio / podcast / music / visual short videos / transcript text
+ I like to add a bit humour while being quite strict in my own politics (opinions) but open / inviting for others to tell me what I should do if they can explain more than just a short comment (I don't mind it's healthy for me at least if you have logic and can stand yourself explaining).
FreeSchool is about Learning towards Freedom (which is about Uniting everyone slowly, even "1 by 1"... Easy with The Fediverse!
Not virtue signalling here only, but practise of EVERYTHING as we go. Judged by getting in contact (many have) and having courage to communicate (or seeking it from others is ok, EVERYONE needs a bit of courage or hand-holding to make big personal changes). Who else is there for example if family doesn't understand?
Learning and watching can be good and staying out of people's way, BUT better is doing something every day and helping each other with some tough decisions / lessons... and then being bold enough to do them. 1... 2... 3 that is all that's needed.

I'm usually impressed with my media gallery as I work on posts a lot usually or hit the "Aha!" moments and capture it (other people may forget it for years, not me!).
Freedom is about *making it work together* better like using #Mastodon on the #Fediverse daily for better platforms with more #bestpractices and 'best' people to help us which I kind of collect here and

Naturally you will hesitate if someone is sure of themself or ok standing on shoulders what we copy do the best from humbly but not too sterile either.
Based on just emotions ruins almost everything, which seems very common - very ungraceful - so don't disconnect... do it gracefully at least!
A "school" of thought is here you can interact / ask and make best together as free/low cost as possible.
Even a bad answer you can take best from (of course I won't know all your situation when I suggest something but I don't need to answer 100% - you also need to help me!).
Leave perfectionism, we are all imperfect humans! Let's do it... Choose something ANYTHING and keep the thoughts rolling together...!

Direct Messages are accidentality to self (user forgets to add name or misspells it which is easy to do).
So a symbol or box or exclamation or self note system can show message is just sent to self and not to anybody
Often people think it's sent (but not to anyone else by self so distinguishing can be very useful for catching mistakenly send messages to self)

Any thoughts on how it works when we have enough code or free stuff but need money to live (so free in that system ends up with people having less money which would be good / amazing if system was also working towards that rather than more the opposite at justification "we need to be paid" which is really "we need to tax you and get paid ourselves the % per hour you make even if every can be done more free!"
Also feel sorry for those that don't get donated as constantly out-freeing others or being replaced (like "this app is all I'd ever want, oh but this one allows changing of colour (or something totally unimportant until it's possible and 'another' thing to divide others about)

Agree, people play this honest / straight way and it's anything but... and the politics of others overrule all this logic for what is a leaning tree to shit-show for profit by almost whatever causes problems as that causes leverage or scarcity, bends people better at the mercy of their cruel psychology or system-backed 'logic' psychology.

Hi, I'm a walking FreeSchool, motivator, or catalyst; coach, or assistant or educator, link to others... many things...
Mostly I help get people doing themselves what they link and some kind of feeling of liberty / autonomy after a spark or some conversation to help genuinely open and grow mind while actually just being friends. Being able to listen and really believe them or believe in them is important (it's really genuine, all people are ace). A bit like therapy too which we all need to help overcome the mental obstacles as change can seem simple for some but not everyone from big tasks to small... but together or with 1 other very responsive person (me) quite easy.

I’m part of a co-op building a platform for artists to sell art without getting exploited. I’ve been working on it for a while but there’s a lot of work to do and I could use some help. A ton of the main features are in place, but there’s still some big gaps and a lot of polish left before it can launch.
The platform is fully open source and developed in the open. It’s built on Phoenix/Elixir and Tailwindcss. Our co-op is already incorporated and established and it’s open to members that want to actually commit but you don’t need to be a member to contribute or help.
Does this sound interesting? I’d love some help! I’m also happy to answer questions. And no, you don’t need to know Elixir already. It’s pretty easy to learn for the things you’d be using it for. Even some design help would be welcome. Feel free to reply here or DM me!

I've been toying with a project idea as of lately. Despite working in information security I'll never be 'cool' - I'm not a malware analyst, my threat intelligence skillset is highly limited, I won't ever produce amazing security tools like other people. I've accepted that.
But, what I can do: Support others at doing all of these things. I know what hassle it can be to want to get a website for your cool projects up and running, but not really knowing where to start, and how.
Or being in the position of not being able to afford reasonable hosting that's not a horrible freemium-hoster that sells your data and bombards your readers with ads (Yes, I am indeed looking at you Medium).
I thought to myself to offer people sort of a one-stop-shop for basic Internet needs. Shell-access to run tools, mail-account with a domain that's not GMX, live.com or something like that and the ability to host their blog, journal, website and so on. Free of charge.
Concept-wise it would be similar to the Tildeverse, with the difference being that I would try to help out folks with setting up whatever they have issues with & with the offering specifically targeted at, but not limited to, groups that are otherwise often at a disadvantage (for example beginners, young people, groups that suffer discrimination).
I've not yet fully sketched out everything, but I wanted to hear what people think. My reach within the Fediverse is highly limited, so I would much appreciate any boosts and / or feedback. So I can find out if this would actually be useful to anyone. :)

Overall this was really nice!
You need to supply the music files and podcast addresses yourself, but once that's done you get a proper private, independent streaming service that also works on mobile apps.
