@PawelK Funny if JS was another acronym related also to something lewd.

Like BJ instead of JS - again something fun in that way multi-meaning

Suggestions welcome :]

That does make sense in some way - although I'd leverage / convert any paying people to 'fund' / provide the non-payers as I'm really against banks and whole process so counts me out in almost every way ALTHOUGH a big exception is that "I'd die for others and what I believe in" <---kinda proven by not using banks but means I'd be more useful being on board than not
meaning:
- I can provide eco-system more than just money.
- I have endless time (which amounts to money that I don't want from mutual people)

I think it's possible and admin(s) know this, just whoever believes in it most or can leverage trust (even if never 100% but something from Mastodon for example and some audio chats) is the win:win

- Even 1mb mail I would take up... so really this sets an entry level of anti-corps belief (yes give me 5 stars and a badge) and really encourages more reality by others too as we educate why (it's not possible for all-you-can eat without damage in almost all ways from uncaring storage and service) ,,,,which some free groups see to think is ok (no name mentioned!).

Alignment and practise for the way.

I think all is possible and even as a test / pooling people (re-culturing) means a better more sustainable reality at low overhead with less data. I do see people who know how to do this as "better ways" and actually people who care would be a good start!

I'm always here for a chat anyway privately also.

Hi I'm looking at getting people off Gmail as it's the root snooping mechanism for a lot of stuff - any ideas / can provide a few an email address that does SMTP? (I can see there's a balance but since you offered the other guy thought it might be worth talking about)

Post re-drafted - so probably lots in context now but was relative to:

It can be a bit rapid fire but please enable instant notifications for a bit to see how that suits you and take what is good (pick and choose, ignore) and after a week if nothing is good then thanks for trying notifications and really go back to follow or even unsubscribe if it's more helpful ^^

@cweickhmann Way out of my league here but sometimes

- leave it and it might sort itself (i.e don't try fiddle too much - you might even remember why later if you let it sit in your head)

- I remember partitioning sometimes causes this *I think*... once helped sort this - so the file-systems have like a way of re-jigging that simply sets picture straight somehow like a defrag but on a deeper partition layer or formatting,

Forgot what it's called but on formatting things, perhaps alignment on storage can makes a difference to how data is written (days of Paragon Partition Manager alignment comes to mind) but if it was always working and nothing new added then borderline just air and I'd be happy to hear later if it rights itself or sitting on problem you remember something :)

This is also by the way and you could sell it (for those that like to pay!)

@james @tenacity
Excellent name. Memorable.
It's like a take on something Jack Black and existing Audacity... even if it's not exactly that apart from the Audacity part !

@tyil Sounds good.
Would be also be good as 'advisor' rile for anybody that has time and for those interested right now in self-hosting, I am talking to some, so people like FeditTips (who is helpful for Mastodon) could help in the current time or whenever someone is quite serious to implement or get a run down / check on what needs doing ...and even run with it.
This also why I do audio conversation - we both are super hyped and charged when we find something and do it same day! (I'm not suggesting this is making of email for others to get away from base-evil-of-gmail but anything with affinity and being motivate we see from each other we could try as it's been practical in the past or just friendly fun / exploring.
I think on this front many might think 'I might sound like an idiot' for their thoughts but luckily I know I am already quite 'not there yet' so nothing much to lose and still I get things done for me and others when it's clearer...
so welcome on anything else to try this methodology (have fun with what interests you / talk about it) since it's a regular way for me.
Will read your blog too a bit. Anything else from me or question let me know...

@evonity @rastinza
Yeah I actually think it's healthy for people to eventually realise and think for themselves from training to see it and also from seeing not to trust others blind or at top level / and the same old small and big-time scams.

The root of many things is the everyday shit-show / back-talking of people and this basically is what need fixing lol - sad but true and completely human- just need evolution out of it and not falling for it over and over or people

and not feeding those things over and over as personal control / responsibility.

@tyil
I was also interest in self-hosting for our server (for people trusted / small-usage users being safe even if not having massive storage and yes being trust-based weighting towards better computer practices as the main win because most of us are not doing anything (at all), nothing bad or anything at all more than blogging.

@rastinza Great I think we're there - and for sure I'm not sure any debt is payable back in an overall sense and participation of snow-balling unpayable total debt BUT as individual I can see it might be viable. I am scared of compounding %'s and future stability / regular bank crashes / man-made or chaotic crisis. But generally it's safe as Gov lets private banks take from public pots of money so that's ok for them and in turn you in that way in the long term... but moral +/- as means for living... sorry for tangent.

@rastinza Very interesting.
The fake new is kind of a new thing for me to consider... as responsibility of individuals (who are getting better and understanding themselves much more but not being repeaters) or admin who could filter or even educate. This cover a lot of FreeSchool type checks or control points for people and admins to make decision / filter nicely.

So fake news interesting new topic - love to talk about that in audio probably.

And then yes Mastodon hijacking type stuff (perhaps bad label) but the usual mainstream tactics when they see anything good or popular or advantageous to undermine slowly knowing people trust something all in to start with.

For example and shock horror for me is that someone told me this what we're writing could be on google at the same time (was clear how other that talking about the 'opt out of search' which google doesn't have to respect much like they don't respect the 'do not track me' in browsers) so that was scary (I trusted you Mastodon I cry like in a movie!!!)

For sure Mastodon is decent in many ways and has more consideration that actually I'd like to talk about and encourage more audibly as medium more interactive than text-only people do as micro consideration (which perhaps get's lost unless it's on GitHub :> ).

Can you say more about the preference with commercial social networks over Mastodon and how that balances out - is just better for some more things you weight or deal-breaker type stuff (and if Mastodon had that would that make you more Mastodon weighted?)

@freeschool@qoto.org @Tutanota@mastodon.social I don't have a #Google mail account, though, I self-host my email. There are sadly very few people learning that stacking all your data at one provider doing it for "free" is a ridiculously bad idea.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social actively hurts the open email community by trying to stamp out the use of open, standardized protocols for handling email. You could check out Drew DeVault's blog post on mail service providers if you want to have some better recommendations.

@tyil The same way we (me, you, other) got gmail, the same way I think we are all learning (regressing those things, seeing it being taken back from us, seeing it bought out) and that learning is naturally how it should be so it's kinda all good as long as people realise and use the better practises and do that more often (right back to the operating system or whatever root emails like not using GMail even if the other provider are nice but not 'all you can eat' such as @Tutanota).

Emotionally-powered thoughts can avoid remembering detail or rembering the same situation or reaction has already been made.
So focus on considering things constructively and properly thereafter is harder in emotionally shorter loops of "I don't like that" etc.

For example emotionally when something is mentioned 100 times but a person doesn't consider advancing to the next step of "I already mentioned this and remember it didn't work" and "so now it's time to go to the next step as this step has reached it's limit, time to move on"
And then finally "I can just work with positives instead of banging on the negatives"

So doing something emotionally over and over can actually avoid moving past this into the acceptance stage and looking at the positives.

Overall everyone has this emotional sensitivity... but for stereotypes like aesthetics or impulse to critique the same way males and females have their set way without looking past this to work together on the positives.

@tyil For me I realise some small things like this can exist but yeah good you point it out. For me it's more about the github-only way or just people like not as a buffer in between like @FediTips who can funnel stuff (knowledge) but it could work for bugs or things (it would also stop people complaining for years and get definitive Y/N like recently I found out Gargron@mastodon.social is totally not into full text search for profiles so at least I got my answer instead of adding hashtags to when it's already been covered (doh for me and not being on github / and not having another ways!)

@tyil I have an add-on that says number of tabs in corner near last tab :)

I used to have a tab limiter too (set at 40) but that I've disabled!

I recommend this though (something that makes you go back and close to open another one)

@rastinza Wish you the best with it and I guess a human with experiences could be considered a resource :)
I personally think the commitment long term 25+ years to by + changing states of banks (as an existence itself or debatable practice of increasing debt) means kinda of a short term gain on anything but then again who wants to live in a tent again!

If you can build a house. I will help you and have a small picture guide on it:

@rastinza
Great. I guess giving chance to relativity is always the good thing with talking or learning more while finding similarity / acceptable differences.

And with your own inspiration and things around then this is the surprising part of speaking (at the beginning people see no reason but seeds sewn quickly can be encouraging in many ways unseen at beginning)

But anyway happy with your response.

I think I've seen you around and think it's good to talk with people who are general favourable for one's self again for many reasons but affinity or relativity I guess is what builds a healthy world so this is one way.

For a topic I'd like to know generally if you have negative feelings about Mastodon and maybe a bit about that. Sounded a bit like 'I'm done with it' or your cup is full in solving things... but I'm guessing / stirring the pot a bit. Thanks

@LinuxGuides
Post English version please (even if similar and if you don't mind). thanks
