If you don't like credit cards or borrowing money at extra costs then you don't like or agree with money.

If banks can't pay their own loans back, how are we expected to pay?

Banks use public money and 'need' regular 'bail-outs" for their greed and faulty methods to swallow our money and *energy*.

Banks loan out more than we can pay back. That is one of the root problems in life.

Banks giving more credit than people can pay back is cruel / criminal... and has to stop for real justice to grow.

Sleep Equity is about... justice, impartiality and fairness...

I think Sleep Equity is about...

(...the word "equity" meaning; justice, impartiality and fairness.)

ALL difficult / impossible to measure things... (like list below)

-Having / keeping our own time

-Regular sleep to recover/repair/regenerate/refresh body

-Balance of living (not work and sleep only)

-Mental balances with other things in life that need attention or well-being (kids, community, other activities)

-Avoiding Passive Violence or Agression on our time

- Less Systematic Conformity

- Less Encroachment from hierarchy to squeeze people using Structural Stresses

(equity = justice, impartiality and fairness)

Important to look deeply at what is going on around and inside too as part of solving that...Many conflicting ideas and feelings within us... Thich Nhat Hanh

Thich Nhat Hanh says : "The Dharma is not a lecture. The Dharma in the Buddhist tradition is a kind of rain. Our consciousness should behave like the soil, the earth. We have to allow the Dharma talk to penetrate. According to the Buddha we have seeds of understanding, of awakening, of compassion, within ourselves. We don't need these seeds to be transmitted from the teacher. We already have all of them in the depth of our consciousness. We call it store consciousness, sometimes earth consciousness. Because these seeds are buried deep in the mind, in the soil of our consciousness, it is very hard for them to grow and manifest. Above there are many layers of suffering, confusion, prejudices and so on, and our intellect can never go deep enough. Our intellect very often contradicts our deepest nature and therefore to allow the intellect to rest and to open our earth store in order for the rain of the Dharma to penetrate is very important."

@socketwench Not sure about WordPress as this is blogging too without website name... and if you want super easy backup and moving Mastodon wins...
though I get the benefits of paying for your own name and occasionally complex WordPress which you could skip as it's MORE social here which is better...
Maybe a static .com contact page also works in combination with Mastodon

So on a static page for contact details and main work on Mastodon?

The blogging and paying for host name + WordPress issues could be skipped and invested on Mastodon without too many features lost (you can still add text and pics as basic format). It's 1 file backup in Mastodon on any server - that is peace and saves a lot of tech hassles...

@Gargron The Streisand Effect is now TheMuskEffect after mastodon and elonjet were suspended on twitter. 😶

Taking covid boosters on top of the original covid vax is like winning at Russian Roulette, and then pulling the trigger a few more times for good measure.

#OnThisDay, 26 Nov 1867, Lily Maxwell voted in Chorlton Town Hall, Manchester, UK.

At the time only men who where ratepayers could vote. A widow running a shop, Maxwell’s name was put on the electoral roll by mistake.

She marched down to the town hall and voted, becoming the first recorded woman to vote in the UK.

Money is a mentality also...

so changing money doesn't always change things or explore new thoughts...

Mentality ropes in bad habits (unknowingly and knowingly)

so that's why people go for knowledge
Learning etc eventually aims to sort out fallacy, assumption, and the "why to do things the freeschool/freedom-loving" ways

It's just less bad exchange/ $lavery / l£ss abuse... And more mutuality / a join cause / acceptance for individuality etc

@pavlosvas1

This bit feels even more relevant for today's

For many years, academics accepted relatively low pay (relative to their skill level) and long hours in exchange for relative at work and a dignified retirement. That has been torn up under a decade of . The supply of “good will” (i.e. and ) that has kept running for a long time is now close to zero. Even if the employers win in this dispute, it will be a victory, or a Carthaginian one — creating a desert and calling it peace. Unless vice-chancellors change course, relations will be poisoned for a generation and universities will become increasingly .

Night train from Brussels to Berlin via Amsterdam starting mid 2023! 22:30-06:48 is not long enough for a full restful sleep, although continuing on to Prague would be nice. europeansleeper.eu/nl/coming-s

@Theraviranjankr The idea of living / staying alive seems to work :) Really at the end many want for it.

So 100% i can imagine maths as something not accepted by all (maybe just less interested by people or they are unhappy people look at numbers more than people etc) so just grouping everything under "life" itself seems to work!.... and those that wouldn't might not fee...l as bad as any sub-category than being alive.

@tonic i like it.. can diagnose with incomplete input boxes - test example below was quite what I was looking for

"...it is likely that the tomato plant is suffering from a fungal disease, specifically Septoria lycopersici. This is a common fungal disease that affects tomato plants and is characterized by dark spots on the underside of the leaves. To fix this, it is important to ensure proper air circulation around the plant and to avoid overhead watering. Pruning away affected leaves is also recommended. Additionally, using a fungicide can help to control the disease. "

Hey there folks,

Tired of having dying plants around the house or garden ? Cant figure out why some plants make it and some plants die ?

I got really good feedback , so i'm sharing it with you , for the first time right here on mastodon !

check it out here : cookup.ai/a/bulbi-plant-doctor

Feedback is welcome so please Toot and Boost at will, you are the very first folks to see the public beta published ;-)

Hope you enjoy !
