I help people create audio / edit educational audio / podcast / music / visual short videos / transcript text
+ I like to add a bit humour while being quite strict in my own politics (opinions) but open / inviting for others to tell me what I should do if they can explain more than just a short comment (I don't mind it's healthy for me at least if you have logic and can stand yourself explaining).
FreeSchool is about Learning towards Freedom (which is about Uniting everyone slowly, even "1 by 1"... Easy with The Fediverse!
Not virtue signalling here only, but practise of EVERYTHING as we go. Judged by getting in contact (many have) and having courage to communicate (or seeking it from others is ok, EVERYONE needs a bit of courage or hand-holding to make big personal changes). Who else is there for example if family doesn't understand?
Learning and watching can be good and staying out of people's way, BUT better is doing something every day and helping each other with some tough decisions / lessons... and then being bold enough to do them. 1... 2... 3 that is all that's needed.

I'm usually impressed with my media gallery as I work on posts a lot usually or hit the "Aha!" moments and capture it (other people may forget it for years, not me!).

There's no buy-in solution - we have to make it with selotape or whatever we have - it's not shameful to bring whatever you have.
FreeSchool is terminology put together from many good things from past (coined in 1950's/60's. I / we become it eventually through being.

I encourage you warmly to participate with me as a I have time and then spiral out naturally to others (we are part of humanity and so naturally a sort of evangelism or ecological pyramid of life as we choose to spread lesser suffering while accepting consuming is part of it).

Naturally you will hesitate if someone is sure of themself or ok standing on shoulders what we copy do the best from humbly but not too sterile either.
Based on just emotions ruins almost everything, which seems very common - very ungraceful - so don't disconnect... do it gracefully at least!
A "school" of thought is here you can interact / ask and make best together as free/low cost as possible.
Even a bad answer you can take best from (of course I won't know all your situation when I suggest something but I don't need to answer 100% - you also need to help me!).
Leave perfectionism, we are all imperfect humans! Let's do it... Choose something ANYTHING and keep the thoughts rolling together...!

I think most schooling covers some parts - perhaps easier / favourites / symbolic parts like Zeppelins and like you said firearm but not all the details or range, cannons perhaps etc... other technical things maybe not needed or wanted by history lesson. Keep thing separate somewhat is safe for them and avoid overlap though that was the best one one subject helped with the other! Go figure (compartmentalisation)
To answer 2nd paragraph, the human aspects or effects are not really part of it perhaps because of the less-factual speculation involved from opinions and ethics that probably school, subject and whole bunches want to avoid, keeping history as object rather than a continual mentality or anthropology because the same system of war certainly still exists, only transferred into softer ways.
More about my thoughts but above answers your question somewhat I hope.
So all those that have the leader above aboth leader is a type of army (hierarchy and orders) so it's not surprising schools etc also come under than, so if you believe the basic setup and that the old mentality didn't just go away when war 'stopped' it just found moer software was or covers for the same thing... forcing people and getting economical benefit out of them.
It's here to stay and all those grandfathers (very low women) just found other less obvious way to war (tech and STEM being one of them and *nothing* funded avoids this political aspect, not even science and tech.).
So just think who funded it and why (I have similar thought to the same points about the race of weapons, colonial monopoly / pirates) and then how it's al used to force people NEVER let them have it for free or lose your grip...that's their job to help keep those people in power. Don't teach too much the kids might know the truth / realise more than the pictures and text and see it's really happening!

THEN I would then turn everyone inwards to get them to answer themselves en mass amongst each other... which many movements *kind of* do but isn't orchestrated (machines like forums or even social not enough social! So daily / weekly/monthly soft-moderated chats that people can JUMP INTO ANYTMIE and deep diving with hard-moderation)
Kind of like text but for those that understand speech and practise of + themes and topics discussed is superior / more-human / productive / a different kind of instant.
So first step is saying what you can't handle / don't want / don't know how to solve and resistance takes care of the rest... (you start messaging me more or asking for chats) - this is how it just happens :] and then I have solve it all myself (reality is better than theory for some things) or start solving it all with mass of others solving it themselves!

And I'm not sure of your results right now (because I don't know / see everything) so do you have some measurable conversion in what you do? - I admit my way is damage limitation since the default tech-hold-life-together is hard to avoid so I minimise as 'the solution' (which many may dislike) - but what is your conversion / results, maybe yuo can convert me! But yeah without antagonism or comparing and considering I don't know / see everything) I think it's worth being genuine in asking that...

Selective Answering <--- Advice wanted about a person/people who selective answer some part of your email (even after 3..4..5. emails) and not the other stuff.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how the German postal service handles gender specific salutations … they simply don't. Problem solved. There wasn't a field to specify a salutation in the form to redirect letters to a new address and they simply addressed me as "Dear Firstname Lastname". Nice
