Compartmentalised is also a good word I learned from audio talk recently.
Almost to say "not here but there is another department for that all the way down the hall, left twice, down again further and then maybe you might see small sign of life there"
Compartmentalised and specialise (which some people can do in upto 3/4 things but many people can't... or just get lost which is why I prefer system to cross train a bit more or at least the STEM individuals who don't already and think 1 compartment / department is enough for whole life.

@murks @feditips
- What if you like all of them / there are many / they are all mostly good?
- It's my guess it's far easier to follow then keep track and unfollow... but yes it's possible and good practice according to your own known abilities and limits (maybe you can do it but others are not as good to unfollow for example, or at least for me might be the case).
So only easy for some.

@feditips
- For older posts could re-draft and post with new settings for older posts...

- I wonder if importing profile would respect a new profile with new settings after import...
Anyway probably good practise to go over all stuff at some time and delete lots of stuff and realise 'the point of what one is doing here' !
:)

and murks @murks -> it's not really all or nothing or just public totally (although yes do assume so), it's more keeping a little bit of boundary which Mastodon does have design for... like not seeing ALL followers publicly in list >_< ...which I think I recommend as default while still keeping functionality in a many good ways.

- It's good people can use Mastodon more openly but for dedicated focus and more quality follows (I think people quickly get lost in following everyone / too many good people) it still allows anyone to message you which is perhaps main part.

@lucifargundam Anything that is too focussed or what is trained almost not to think about the other parts... is a problem for me (I think)
Justice needs a wide-range of sapience / consideration... and I guess I'm going for of a moral solution than tech / hardware / equipment types of solutions... so while it might leave people prone, this trust more than funding military regimes is also an indirect win, rather than arming to teeth everyone because of all the social problems people ignore and even profit from by policing in a bad circular loop.

@amerika
None of which seems supported by system. I guess that's why I think it's the responsibility of all.

@amerika
1/ Any specifically you can point to that cover what's in the picture?

Quick look at Humanities lead me to think they are all perhaps stuff nobody cares much from day-to-day because it's not at all relative (so yes nice but no not really relevant in many more ways than needed or not needed as such high level investment of time or money):

- study of ancient things
- modern languages
- literature
- philosophy
- history
- archaeology,
- anthropology,
- human geography,
- law <--- only one significant and it's a lot of B$ / over-bloat
- religion,
- and art !!!!

- these are exactly the under-funded categories or what nobody money-orientated or day-to-day cares about lol

Law is the only one from this list but yeah maybe list any more you think hit hard or what people even heard of (people I think as % study it less AND 0 jobs available for above like starving artists just spits of contract work and that's it ! Not really the appreciation I was looking for using the main STEM branches or STEAM picture)

- Who even does these things any more?

- How often do you even see if mentioned even covered as important. Not saying they are not but hard to see if there isn't job, much interest, space, and it's all far away stuff from day to day, then how are you going to do it regardless of make living from it.

My direction was that STEM should be looking at human things and not objectifying people / cutting them out a lot less... I dunno mentioning that X is not only X but ABCDEFG attributes also... and pretending it doesn't matter somewhat to treat planet and people in only X fashion with not after effect or consequences or X = X + unhappy Y and unhappy Z

Feels for me like all of these main subjects should / could have MORE human categories of each one and that's what I would like to prevail much more now we have covered a lot of other main things almost to the maximum / broke the back of sciences and it will still continue anyway.

For example Social Science 'is a thing' and what I'd like more average people investing in' (which could be measured by money put in or just the time humans work on these things)... but that whole money thing is perhaps separate... JUST for example STEM people actually caring and doing more of the people interaction and spread would be GOOD / better than without!!
No point having more Einstein's or bodies if they don't care or systematically deal with numbers mostly / only.

Artificial intelligence and Automation leads to a reduction of human practitioners....

Just a few very quick observations (FEEL FREE TO WRITE BETTER EQUATION of it)

Artificial intelligence and Automation leads to a reduction of human practitioners and caring.

Human extinction perhaps but before that simply more and more mono-culture like processes as they get more mechanised in all other things adding more of everything non-human.

Existing practitioners and artists are already arguably starving for their work purely because a machine or anything similar can do it faster, digitally etc etc and at the end other humans may not care if a human did it by hand or machine... (so it's not that AI or machines are necessarily bad because any system (managed by humans) that seeks to keep people alive as mechanically as possible will find this likely the problem!).

People talk about machines as if they are alone. not replacing people by managers and installer who KNOW 5 people will be laid off as this and this and this process is done by the machine.
It's natural but then also naturally (humanly) needs balancing to say "yeah we could do it like that but then it would be only you here checking a monitor and pushing buttons and that would be boring / not a job any more and even that would be replaced so we're all doomed that way"

The other way to look at it is that we shouldn't have attachment to living by how easy or hard things are - so if life becomes so easy we can work only 20hrs a week SO BE IT... but he attached social and governmental control wouldn't want that as it's relative to wanting people to pay all the time even if we could do things better. Sad paradox or conflict of interests BETWEEN REAL WORKING AND CIVILISATION and EXTRACTING PEOPLE FOR MONEY AS HARD AS MUCH POSSIBLE (differing 'efficiencies' and meaning come into play)

Automation is 'taking care' of human work while other humans are not taking care of humans (just automating tasks and coldly processing things and people).

Automation and AI seems to do what human used to be able to do (took longer but still more human) or couldn't do completely (life oversized things)... but it is the uncaring residue of all these machines or more-mechanical processes which reduces down further the job type and appreciate for human diversity (by humans and for humans!)

Being automated or managed by superior processors and attached artificial intelligence.

I would hope they keep us alive as pets because needing to find work when actually we need not!

blah blah right! Will improve it better (FEEL FREE TO WRITE BETTER EQUATION)

Humanised types of STEM / STEAM <--- what I think can be more human

The classic forms of sciences I think need more focus on and updating to more caring types of human relativity/ care / less primitive objectification / ignorance of other things

@AmpBenzScientist
Interesting - some example please or add to a post as you listen in new tab or send as you go along

Was hoping for a few track names from you / youtube-invidious links .... also because those genres are not my immediate go-to types so maybe you can bump that perception and realise it might actually be mostly good :)

Bit of a wise / deep-philosophical end to that post too... did you have something in mind when you said that?

@lucifargundam
Indeed - Right now I'd personally go for individual justice more than organised / paid perhaps (a family-larger tribe thing considering the modern setting) rather than large overall umbrella paid anonymous thing... and run the risk of raids etc perhaps... rather than opt for consistent corruption or simply not needing them hardly ever (how often we all need police and what can be done after that we don't already have to do on our own? <rhetorical / to myself question)

So what do they do is perhaps not seen as useful and mostly an extension of collecting money / tax / finding problems from rules made for that reason (I think I should stop here and just say policing in today's sense is simply too mixed up to be effective and we might even learn what real problems are and not let others not-take-care-of-it / make profit for oppressing people / causing trouble / restricting justice /protecting bankers mostly).

lol too easily to write a long list about policing...

but yeah let us think how to police the policers or what other way more than list any more maybe :)

@lucifargundam
How to police* the policer(s)
or are we are all doing it etc somehow?

*(if same word as policing)

From seeing influx of clever people and being aware how they can be used in terms of 'job', I wonder if 'they' the new clever will do exactly the same planned for them and leverage those under them under the name of money / rules or whatever education allows them...
So once they have access to 'respect' that they 'earned' by becoming superior are they just going to get authority and do the same once they can?

Wow I think I phrases that perfectly... I'll re-read after when it's fresh again....

Left over parts:
Once people get money for their brains and otherwise would be disrespected / not acknowledged / sub-normal people etc... I wonder if they will do exactly the same as many sub-cultures (like richer immigrant (just to make it clearer) who just make a new middle layer of landlord and push prices up like existing layers of landlords)

@amerika @gabriel

Say more about the last line.

Suggestions welcome how / what / when / where / etc

@amerika @gabriel

I think there can be a balance of minimum to bring it back... like a leaning tree we stop leaning and start leaning back to center...

I think the judgment of "what obsesses you will rule you" is difficult to get out of if your 'obsession' is your life itself and what you are born into it further on from that...
....AND increasingly so per generation! What a dilemma... !
Live or leave people to it... BYE!

As banks and whoever else on the game squeeze even more and simply step up / constrict more this is simply not getting much better here unless.... (well - suggestions welcome for those Christians continually working on 'something' nearer to what God would approve or imagining towards something more different to mainstream funded)

It's obviously mainstream job specifications are not going to support any of this stuff as they are not God-inclined or anywhere near without money being the point of it all, and they are even opposite any God so that's worse there). I'm asking for advice for this part more than debate
What is good idea or what is even possible, even in theory let alone even the courage to do it / try it... ?

Not using the material means really radicalising anyone's life
(which I think all reading this should do... and I can support) but seems in the end it mean accepting this is the life developed or leaned towards by those before us which have good too far and isn't good and probably involves giving up the body / allowing the body risk in order to really opt-out / go for something 'higher' / further than that which the body offers),

How do we go somewhere upwards somewhat if we are to keep the body and it's needs?

@amerika @gabriel

Do you mean "I have no problem with people loving money. Money is after all freedom and safety." from your point of view and/or other people's.
For example I do see reasons to see problems with people loving money, but just asking you without actually mixing my opinion there.

Perhaps also say more about "cupiditas radix malorum est" as it's not as plain readable perhaps or clear in the sense you mean it.

Overall the 'too much focus on money' I get from what you say but a reminder that life based solely on money (not based on the soul that is!) makes it *hard for anyone NOT to sell* as the whole system and perspective is to sell your body to the authority or money managers and nobody is an exception / all is made a standard to get you to be a buyer or seller (not sharing etc supported or encouraged or towards free will, only being marketed... if I might ask for your agreement on that?)

@amerika @gabriel

I think people genuinely want to hold on to their lives,

They might see money quite rightly as the ultimatum "money or your life" - so in the passive form of that term it tests one religion and almost make its optional (if you don't agree wit this.. this.. this... this... etc then let yourself die without it and go back to God or whatever next) ...

so some of 'them' (Christians, Christianity or humans) genuinely clutch onto their money at least as short term as it's kind of allowing them to live...
(sometimes it's at a bigger cost to their own religion etc etc)...

...but for some it's to think past it and not excuse only they were born into it and it's better than taking yourself out (though I'm sure we all do think about that and perhaps a sedative or hanging can serious prove yourself to God and the world if you even need to regarding our similar predicaments of 'do money or die / go against the system / ask for a fighting many people )

To alleviate ultimatums which money is excellent at making / designing it's the good work of the people (if I may say so) to not turn our backs on those that have an inkling of imagination past money... and even let those about money fall somewhere more between us...

This means it's probably easier in increments to fall under money than something like inviting more untrained people into our life or even inviting the holiest people literally in (semi-permanently into your home! <--- this is also pretty scary and might get your adrenalin going as you think I'm coming to your house now to get to 'work' under god or whatever...
this is just as one example to divide the burden of money as rent-life has designed us under this and born us into it (thank mum and dad!)... so rather than expect all of us to pay individually some huge euro for rent finding a way to look at each other differently every day because the isolation / 'peace' and quiet doesn't even last long so we might as well invite it in a bit more and get to know each other / make peace with the world.

We have a long way to go and it's not as simple as just money or nothing that's for sure.
