And then just business-wise the bouncing around video's is good for business and upping numbers and interest all the while (even when it's not the right video still a +1 as a 'view' or adding more exposure and distraction, so not really 'negative' to them as such or + or -, it's more a overall a business thing or what get more hits..

And the AI is steered by that same mentality behind it, it's not a purely 'for the good of all mankind' (I got this vibe from what you both said) and increasingly all is more political though you might not 'see' it though it's more obvious now with stronger algorithms and politics everywhere.

Appreciate you mentioning it and in no way negative about that just showing it's much like everything else- they have control, they own the structure, their objectives are not aligned or as innocent as out / only if it's further profitable / exploited / fuels back into the system is the traditional way and enforced by various 'business' practices.

Are you looking for transcription for free?
Doing it manually yourself also sharpens the material / the logic of segments and finds big holes occasionally or 'we said it wrong' parts which is helpful when typing it out and even relearning what we say / seeing it from another view :)

Happy to do some test test to see if it works for you.

@kensanata I think I was sold on that sentiment even though the last sentence seems to undo it (because it's a different kind of less)

So to clear that up, as I see it (PERHAPS!...)
- Too many software engineers
- Not enough talking (PURE-IRC / TECH-HEADS no good for nobody <--- yes I know but sounds good)
- more importantly practising more human things so it's not really about less but just PLUS the more humans stuff (getting to accept each other, forcing each other to talk, conversation skills, self-confidence (no way but to just jump in and practice audio chat for example), believing in each other than 'perfect' machine and borderline fascism (pardon the strong work but I mean just code is law type order that we can't get around other than Mastodon which is for chatting not making new tools for the dark side to plugin to dark things again which anything new invariably does or is created from...)

Anyway moving to what is really the case of 'what we haven't been going' is hard to sell or encourage anyone who can do it effortlessly using IRC to get in 0 depth or people skills- which is possibly the #1 problem wrecking all relationships and projects apart from the start where everyone is happy on the hype, and then creeps in personalities and harmosnising / aligning becomes near impossible which is why I advocate speaking in more circles, even random to break ourselves into pure acceptance and learning all the type of people first before we do any major business or project or at least as we go along in everything.

So still can do a lot of stuff, almost everything but focus and respect is about people, not the other stuff that can be switched or more controlled than our brains which happen to be the best decision maker (eventually) and can't trust must else more than that as a collective in the long run.

Someone please summarise me for IRC people lol- obviously the details or complex thing isn't a 1 line or even 1 paragraph thing which is why long way around teaches everyone everything (what capitalism has been avoiding / cutting out / order others and people just following)!

I like the reality of this... and feels like it's a constant thing cropping up more often which why I want to respect the re-occurrence with a long post proportional to the extortion of rent and things like this which kills projects and people dead (albeit slowly or indirectly).

Billions of people are over-paying in my opinion in order to have these services run or 'roof' over their head and even heavy donations at some point won't cut it (but I do suggest you pay stux and talk about funding more often).

To be mindful as things get more expensive is what this post is about.

Longer text is for me caring more, so please consider that before letting 'wall of text' syndrome hit you and forever ask why less and less things work.

CUP OF TEA MAYBE IF IT HELPS:

SO there is an obvious attempt by others to coerce us in acceptance of using monetary things which further increases ultimatums with the same old threats of food cut-off / being homeless etc (just one year savings can be wiped out and even selling your grandma won't help). Many are losing saving right now and not like caring jobs are being made by the plentiful.

So perhaps to accept this equation and get better at avoid this is about finding more richer people to hold the umbrella.
I was once richer and didn't donate as much as I should have BUT also blame people for not responding or engaging with 'little' or 'stupid' non-coders / non-engineers (which I consider myself somewhat) but for a while I have chosen to be poor as anyway it would have got to this stage and needing to start solving this problem using my life the long run (no more playstation gaming) so rather than people "making-ends-meet" people can find other who can outright pay for things EASILY (maybe with a bit of HUMAN outreach).

These excellent / experienced people of the past are needed as part of the overall engine for community (again I think we can do better at spreading the word MORE PERSONALLY *while* working on things together on whatever human level like talking circles about it even if it's about having fun while money literally runs dry- not just work work work / code code code.

SUMMARY: That's one half of solution (finding rich nice people) and 2nd half of solution is the longterm game below (in short that we can't win the game of money / spiraling debt / x = [x+%] from banks, they own it and only give it out with debt or % on top. Game over if we only pay money interactions... Read on for more if you really care about life using money and want to spiral human interaction for the time we still have left!
Remember people are migrating now from places only because of money (there is plenty to do but the banks and gov don't want to pay or create those job so we have to create our own / give each other something to do also!)

SO the other half of finding rich people to help pay, is this battle:

understanding rent is a killer and NOT to ignore banks and landlords that are deliberately a politically a losing game for people in that they do literally choose who gets money and who doesn't and basically NEVER listen... to anything lol.

So turning the heat up at the same time [especially in 2022] is waiting disaster I suggest teaming up even randomly to give time to show our powers (can't expect all ACES or ALL-STARS, and actually the mass is what is needed either way for engagement).
So no use ignoring things getting less as rent goes up more and more (Berlin is a nightmare right now with extortionate prices for 1 bedroom- yes we might pay any price but this is not really possible or worth accepting)

NOT IGNORING GREED
I was never a fan of rent as it's proportional to the unwillingness by others and even the opposite which is feeding greed and control held against our own life in the end (even when houses are paid for many times over we still keep on paying).

It's political so I expect people to not read anymore but encourage you to think "I'm next also" in the type of Jenga https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenga of price increases and consider everything is politics (tech is born / stemmed from Gov / banks same as everything) so just to pay them is not enough (not anymore) THEY WANT YOU TO CONFORM EVEN MORE

We do risk becoming homeless naturally from this as they directly or indirectly rack up conditions / make things digital-only and up the prices and political heat...

This doesn't take away from individual, just I respect it's happening / going to happen to all of us so finding richest-open-source-friendly mentality is key in future to make things last

As a last note in order for Stux possibly not to see this (as we talk about it before) it's also important to realise without 'salt in the wound' that money is not just a neutral tool and highly developed in many sub-dividing ways (such as being tied to law, negative maths (debt), government spending, public usage of tax by banks (a private company!) etc etc). Just not good on many fronts and no way around that (or just not expecting to pay to get out of it).
