It is definitely great to have a crafted and well prepared post. I know there is a lot of work to do to master this.
To follow up on that note of showing an excerpt it seems that @hansw did exactly that.
Maybe he alreadymentionned on how he did it.
I think it's very nice for long posts.
Anyway, fingers crossed on having this directly implemented...

Are you having trouble with the Forum loading? I saw your post here and just went to check, and it's working well for me atm.
The feature you saw in action in Hans's post you mentioned (En savoir plus -- or Read More for the English version) is built into Mastodon; it will trigger automatically when a post is longer than a certain number of lines.
I really think that proposed feature would work well - but it is quite difficult to get the top people to accept a proposal it seems.
Let's see how it goes. Thank you for the reply - and try to copy and paste it in later, as the Forum should be working.
Already made a new Blog page -- posted and now announcing, haven't had breakfast yet but it was an interesting idea. 😄
