@freemo

I just did😊.
I will see how I can be of use there...

@design_RG
Saw it. Thank you my friend.😊
By the way you missed the - e - on "ami".
We kinda like complicating stuff😜

@freemo @design_RG
Pity it can't be in Pinafore but maybe it's a great thing to go back and forth to refresh our brains...

@mike
I didn't know how warm that was.
I understand.
Well when you have time to show them. :-)

@freemo
Thanks for the gentle cheer.
Did you find your last 5?

@design_RG

A very interesting feature this quote tab - I didn't see it because I kinda stay in Pinafore...

And another thing I didn't notice (bcoz well Pinafore😋) is that the toots doesn't appear 'til i click on it. Meaning that I can focus on one thing at the time...

Pretty neat!

@gioypi
Easy -- the Subscribe feature will Allow you to :

* see any Public posts that user makes.
* NOT show any post with higher privacy level.
* So it's NOT invasive as some people argued when this came online.
* Allows you to see posts without connecting and notifying the user.

Sometimes useful, for people who have locked accounts, which require approval for Following. However -- they should know that PUBLIC means just that, and have no expectation of Privacy in anything sent Public.

Worth mentioning that these and other new features introduced in January 2020 have really nice Documentation -- produced by myself, modesty apart... 😉

See them here -- one feature per post. discourse.qoto.org/t/qoto-org-

@freemo
That is nice!
As i still don't know how to get around I let others who have more to bring to the foreground.

@freemo I will invite a few people to here over the next week or so days and suggest they mention they also know me, @zleap that way we know who they are, will be selective at first, then friends can invite friends.

Hopefully there will be interest and people are open enough to come here and sign up.

I will however see if I can invite stem ambassadors here.

On a general advocacy level.

I have 2 blog posts planned tone covers what the fediverse is and the other covers alternatives to main stream social media, so it is a good opportunity to tie in invites to that.

I will make a point I am here, but try and direct people to the main mastodon instance so they can choose based on interest.

Also have an article in the draft stage too.

Hopefully things will start fitting together.

@brandonsjournal@fosstodon.org

Hello Brandon, I have been using it this last month.

And it is the best I've seen thus far:
easy set up - hassle-free - markdown which I didn't know about before...

I am not writing everyday - to say the least - but maybe this could give me some push to put what i have on my computer.
I have a 16 892 words on my Ghostwriter doc and that is only one doc) + 1500 words I wrote on loose papers all these years...

The thing is that the blog would serve few purpose.
And I'm still unsure what would be best.
I *love* helping out people to free themselves from the things that prevent them from living aligned with themselves. And of course that is different from person to person. Which reveals true nature because in essence everyone has its own light to bring to the fore...

Anyway, my blog would be a way for me to organize my ideas, deepen my own understanding about individuation, self sufficiency and resilience - share some insights i may have and allow for connection to be made.
And if I can help people who have had a hard time with co-dependency issues and a lack of autonomy well I think that it would make my days!

Here is my blog 🐢:

@zleap @design_RG
This is a very good tutorial for beginners.
I definitely used it to learn the basics.

I was wondering:
* What would be the difference b/w Markdown and Latex
* How to begin using the latter
* How hard is it to use it
* and if you use it on Write.as?

I had open an account on Overleaf to do my resume but I'm kinda lost in translation😁!

@design_RG

It is really weird how I felt after reading this post:
I was speechless and felt exposed.
Even now my throat is tense and i want to cry...
I would never think that someone could actually see me this way and I definitely don't see this for myself.
It is so easier for me to find beauty in others...

I feel there is something more genuine here and **you** @design_RG are definitely helping with that welcoming feeling.

So Thank You! 💖

@design_RG
hello Rob, Thanks for the clarity :-)

Just one thing though, it is the 1st part that I can't get into right now:

>> Go into Settings and select one of the instances you have configured (hint -- double click on the Star in the right, and it's a ONE click switch, instantaneous).

I'll keep on searching :-)
