Sometimes it's less about a subject than throwing ideas off my brain. And give it a structure straight.
I use it also to find out what I already know on a subject and the question I may have on it so i create my own structure and learning becomes then mine...

I just did a test search, after being so surprised when someone pulled a whole thread out of thin air -- with the words "family tree" only.
OMG -- Full text search? on mastodon that is so freeking rare.
On Pleroma she pulled it off easy.
On a smaller instance, ok. On FAB, where my new account is, the same search got results as far back as 3 weeks.
Amizingly, it showed one of Hans's posts, done here on qoto, seen and indexed, retrieved on FAB easily.

When you mean fewer followers do you mean less.
Well I'm not going for the rate but what is actually going on with people. And if that is the case (less people) it means that you can actually have better quality.
If I came here it was to stay away from that rating thing and google way of doing things anyway...
So if I understand well, I need to think about putting hashtags in all my toots... and maybe have one that would define me to retrieve all exchanges i've had?

Is there a functionality on Pina that can bring in dicussions you may have had with a person.
I've tried the search button but I don't think that would be it.
When I want to write a toot I sometimes forgot something that someone said or the interaction that happened... and that I missed on or anycase that could happen in between.
So if anyone knows about this super functionality I'm all ears... or would be... tomorrow 😴

That is great!
I have understood these last decades that no one learns the same way.
But I really believe that the most important is how a teacher can infuse enthusiasm for what you learn and make it relevant in some way for you.

@globcoco I have had loads of bad teachers in my time. Good ones too, and in some cases exceptionally good at their job.
It took me a few days and some nice encouragement from @design_RG but I have done my about page.
