@cooper The #100DaysToOffload reminds me fondly of late 90s decentralized, wonderful, weird, and interesting internet. That's the internet I signed up for so it's been really refreshing reading about random people's random projects/thoughts.

It’s on the Forum for now, but it’s basically finished; will have to resize images for the blog, but I like it.

Thanks, well being on the forum and here could have the unintended consequence of opening doors.

I am not on there for that sole purpose, but just by being there, sharing skills, passion,knowledge and enthusiasm people can't take that away from me.

Even if some of the areas are not my specialist area (e.g diversity it is not about ME but the community and making it stronger and better)

I spent some time this afternoon sorting out 3 bigbluebutton rooms for each the 3 part LaTeX course from the Overleaf website.

I made a text file with all the activity links too. But did that a while back, so included that too along with a LaTeX cheat sheet.

I assume you are referring to the message I sent this morning, regarding the visual presentation in Write.freely ? no reply yet on that case.

The ideal is to use a maximum width of 640 pixels, these will NOT be scaled down and are fast to load, we control the quality.

I alternate between PNG and Jpeg formats, whichever compresses an image better, I try for the smaller size always.

Yes -- and to come back here and look at the oh-so-poor presentation Mastodon makes of it.

We need Markdown, so bad. Really sad to look at posts here and compare to what I do elsewhere.

The forum post, I gather ? Yes, it can look exactly like a Blog, all the controls are there, and Markdown works wonderful.

Sometimes I write a full blog here, and just hone it up a bit more at Write.freely.

🇬🇧 Good morning to all our Spanish speaking friends in the Fediverse.

I wanted to share a mention of a nice small instance, which runs the excellent and more full featured version of Mastodon called "Glitch-Social" -- and which I personally recommend to anyone interested in a better environment.

Niklas is the Admin of some mastodon instances running Glitch-Social, and on a post here yesterday he mentioned one, which is a Spanish speaking focused one.

https://mstdn.es/about is the location. You are welcome to visit and register, make yourself a new home there, perhaps you like it? I have created a personal Publishing account for my Blog at another of Niklas's instances and am very happy.
