I've been watching people on twitter today lament the passing of the bird as it falls, and trying to help those who are thinking about making a move to Mastodon.
Seems that some people instinctively understand Mastodon and what it is, and others just dont, and refuse to even try to understand.
Then there are those that almost get offended by the mere thought because they heard from someone, somewhere that is was a difficult to learn ... and 'different'
People are strange.
@leeleedee I think it's expected that some people will resist, I see it in other areas too.
FOSS isn't for everyone, there seems to be a distrust by some of anything that isn't a commercial endeavour.
