Taken in 2011 at a car parts store here in Melbourne who supply a lot of parts to the hot rod scene. They have an annual Xmas party and you never know what might show up. Lots of hot rods.
And being a hot rod event, they rarely stay still for long. Always moving, doing blocks, rolling in and out. Something about the hot rod scene, it's very mobile.
It's a commitment to own a hot rod nowadays. State authorities can make it hard to register. Plus these cars drink a lot of fuel. Not many are used as commuters daily.
@vwdasher maybe is because I moved away from the South Coast and I stoped going to cruises. But I really don't see any hot rods anymore!
