Video game preservation is a complex task, hindered by Digital Rights Management, limited accessibility to server code, and publisher disinterest. Without proper preservation efforts, valuable works of art risk being lost over time.
I'd like to see a video game archive equivalent to a film archive in the future. It can't come soon enough :)
@gpowerf Internet Archive does have some game collections I believe
