After yesterday’s #Vauxhall vans and police cars, another working vehicle from an ex-GM brand in the form of this #Holden Ute (I think it’s a VU, although I’m sure someone like @vwdasher can put me right if I’m mistaken!). I’ve got no idea how it came all the way from Australia to go on sale at a garage in the tiny rural Cambridgeshire hamlet of Chettisham (pop. 180) where I saw it in 2016. If this car could talk, I reckon it might have quite a story to tell. #WeirdCarMastodon #davidsdailycar

@davidwilkins @vwdasher the later SS models were just awesomely cool. I saw them in Australia plenty of times. The most pointless vehicle ever made, a super low pickup that couldn’t carry much, overpowered by a Corvette engine and riding lower than a Porsche 911…. Why? But why not? Silly, but awesome.
