@youronlyone I think this is mine... But I will do much more driving this year so the map will expand quite a bit :D
@gpowerf I've been always thinking if a camper van lifestyle would work in our country. Our islands are largely disconnected, and if I'm not mistaken, not every island have a ferry for vehicles.
Be safe in your travels! It's always awesome to visit new places. ^^
@youronlyone well you could stick to one island at a time. There's so much to see in Luzon alone!
I don't know about van life, but people in the Philippines do build overland rigs and I've seen pages discussing various overland adventures there :)
As for van life, a simply HiAce build would be very anonymous and relatively affordable. Here in the UK we mostly explore the country with a pickup (Isuzu D-Max) and a tent... so no winter exploring.
@gpowerf Wait… there are?! LOL. I live here and I have no idea. I've always viewed it that we have narrow roads, and it's too hot.
Hmm… that's a good idea you have there. It doesn't have to be a van. A tent and pick-up indeed is more than enough.
That reminded me, in South Korea, they love camping. There are even designated places not far from urban cities, just for camping. They just have to pay for land use. But they're don't travel much.
Our different cultures can be combined, and see which one works for a particular place.
Good idea!
I'll start checking local rigs, too. Hopefully start my solo journey, so I can do explore in my own pace. ^_^
Thank you for sharing!
@gpowerf So awesome. Love it!
@youronlyone basically I should have all the provinces between Manila and Sorsogon covered soon :D
