Sounds like Ford is competing for second place when they reference GM & Toyota who are nowhere in the EV business but not Tesla.
This just comes across as a festival of market losers. Seems no car maker in the US cab catch Tesla.

@carnage4life I agree with Ford. BYD is going to be number 1 in terms of numbers soon, in terms of innovation NIO is arguably at the top, and whilst CATL isn’t a car maker it is Chinese and this potentially gives Chinese EV makers an advantage as they lead the battery race.
