It is not. The planet is adapting to what we're doing. There will always be a rich ecosystem on our planet.
But that ecosystem will adapt to the point where we no longer have a place in it.
No, the planet is not dying. We are.
@KleineMaulwurf I agree with this toot. The planet is tough, it will be hard for us to accidentally destroy it fully. It’s not about saving the planet, it’s about consciously doing the right thing for both humanity and the other life we share the planet with.
Phrasing it “saving the planet” is disingenuous and in my opinion counterproductive. There’s enough scientific proof of the damage we are causing to have sensible conversations, there’s no need to resort to cheap drama.
