A very very small part of me is tempted to change the switches on my affordable Chinese mechanical keyboard, but the rest of me is saying "don't be silly! It; 's fine."
@gpowerf OK, but hear me out.
My favourite keyboard layout ever that I have is on a keyboard that sounds like every press is scratching on a tiny blackboard, or like somebody shattering a teensy wine glass.
If it sounded and felt great it'd be an amazing keyboard.
So what now?
@gpowerf It's a trick question, because what keeps ME from replacing those switches is that I will under no circumstances do it over a hundred times. I'm way too lazy to go down that rabbit hole.
