This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

The commercial for the SEGA Sonic Sports Pack for the Game Gear.
As someone who consumes a whole lot of eggs this is suboptimal #xp ohttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-63743217
My aim is improving a lot in #HaloInfinite. All down to using a pad 😞 I wish auto aim wasn’t so strong so that keyboard and mouse would be closer to the pad. But hey… the game is great! #xp

Oh, and then there's another computer I managed to get today... Still untested...
@retrosteveuk it could be a game we play and then it all goes back to normal after Game Over.

"The Computers of London" – I went hunting for microcomputers in London, and found a few. Quite a few in fact. https://heliomass.com/posts/093-the-computers-of-london/ #retrogaming #c64 #London

OMG - I just realized Mastodon has the ability to mute people for predefined periods of time. I've wanted this feature for years. Too often I've muted someone I really like because they're live tweeting an event or something like that, only to forget to unmute them until months later. The ability to mute someone for just a day or two is big for me personally.

@freemo at times you are. But hey, it’s fine 😂👍
@obi OK, let’s make a deal. I’ll add you as a friend when I’m ready. Soon 😂
@obi maybe 🤔 I have no XBox friends. Picture me as a 2600 player with a new box infront of me thinking this newfangled online gaming world is strange.
@wiredfire @jq I’m a different species to those people 😉 I’m joking of course, I know! My wife is like that.
@jq @wiredfire it is easier I think. Linux normally doesn’t need much tinkering for a successful install where everything is working.
@ruesafer@nerdculture.de all of them…
@jynersolives I was born in America, I live in Europe and my spiritual home is the Philippines. 🤷♂️ anyway, I’m located in Europe.
Also I’ve never been to Africa but Namibia is in the bucket list.

Went on a road trip today to acquire an IBM 3278 so that I can experience the IBM mainframe feeling in an appropriate fashion, using https://ajk.me/building-an-ibm-3270-terminal-controller - The keyboard is of the German APL variant and looks awesome after some cleaning. Now I need to find a DP8341N and the three-way transformer. #retrocomputing

Americans are choosing to be alone, but we should reverse that
