This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

#Google at ‘code red’ over #ChatGPT as teams reassigned to work on competing #AI products ~ https://9to5google.com/2022/12/21/google-code-red-chatgpt/
"Google is highly concerned about accuracy, and one executive explicitly said that the AI 'can make stuff up' when it’s not sure, while bias and toxic language are other issues."
With obvious caveats, could it be that much worse than searching for help only to be served an #SEO'ed SERP that's primarily garbage? So many G tools could be enhanced. #news #content #search

Now that all three kids are home for the holidays, the silverware is disappearing at an unsustainable rate. What do they do with it? Sell it for drugs? All I want is a spoon. It’s my house. Why can’t I have one spoon in my own house?
@peteuplink@home.social I mostly played the NES version. But from my recollection the C64 and NES versions are very close anyway.

I'm sharing my Facebook page on Mastodon and my Mastodon page on Facebook, just because it will make Elon Musk extremely mad x
I just love this game! And my spartan now is very Christmassy #HaloInfinite #xp https://youtu.be/pxck4v397Qc
@jensscholz cool! I'll give it a go sometime.
@jensscholz I've never tried it. What do you like about it?
We are living in a gaming era where there are 1000s of Tod Rogers out there. I'm not going to name any streamers, but I think we all know a streamer who almost certainly cheats. Cheating by itself isn't exactly a huge crime or sin, but doing it for fame and fortune on Twitch does seem a fair bit worse than simply doing it to beat your friends, a lot like Tod Rogers.
I've realised that there is a top I cannot wear when playing games. I've had a handful of electric shocks from my headset strong enough to hurt and to reset the joypad.
I suspect this may even have fried a Turtle Beach pad too...
Any tips anyone? I know I cannot wear that top anymore. But I'm starting to flinch every time I touch my headsets now 😨 and I don't want to fry any more pads. #xp

I don’t see these Track Hawks in the UK often, specially not round these parts! Anyway, I know it is an old dinosaur… but I do like them. #xp
Avatr 11, the luxury Chinese SUV with 578 hp and a starting price of just over $50k. Looks like a funkier alternative to many of the luxury European EVs. #xp https://carnewschina.com/2022/12/21/avatr-11-electric-suv-from-changan-and-huawei-rolls-off-production-line-in-china/?fbclid=IwAR0XZQxDEZhO5P5JlHbQwCQCi_sOA4I0xjoLiNooVVsiNkopv6vID27_Cw0
@trinsec it is already doable but it isn't officially supported out of the box. There are just a few aspects of the Xbox that annoy me. I've been suffering from some Menu lag that's really suboptimal.
@Lonu Enjoy. IMHO Minish Cap is arguably the best Zelda ever.
@bluebirch I have some over a decade old PCs that still run acceptably well for basic Web browsing.
@daveleeFT surely at some point there will be a movement to rejoin. I mean there's got to be! I'm sure some Conservative politicians (Labour too no doubt) think it would be losing face to attempt to rejoin, but is it? Does it matter?
If the mayority want to join the EU who not kick off the process?
