This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

@comchia yeah. I started roller skating early 2022 and then took up ice skating as well. When I took up ice skating I then made some roller skates using the same boot as my ice skates so they both felt similar.

Doing my usual weekly skating, this time, in the evening. The foot traffic is a lot heavier, but I still have fun, especially with my own skates, and Link socks.

There is a downside of the huge influx from birdsite over the past weeks:
Before the influx started, I had about 50 moderation requests the past 4 years.
The newest moderation request is #377.
Remember that you as a user can:
- mute a user
- block a user
- mute a whole server
... and most important:
- you can think twice if you really need to report a user to the admins or just relax and call it an idiot and ignore that user.

Screw it. We're playing Dreamcast with a Wii Classic Controller!
Bonus points to whoever recognises the game.
@darth @gamingonlinux I never understood this mentality. A console is just a little affordable computer, I never understood the tribalism around them.

i have a design replacement idea for those who say that #mastodon is difficult to use
@gamingonlinux this! Exactly this. A console and a Steam Deck are not the same thing.

PCGamesN: "The Steam Deck is missing an important element – exclusives"
Me: With much respect: no.
Exclusives suck. The Steam Deck is a PC. It runs games made for Linux and Windows. It would mean making a game only for Linux and locking it to Steam Deck - just no. Can we please not entertain that idea?
Only console fanboy zealots like exclusives.

An fascinating interview with #Mastodon creator Eugen Rochko. The platform's current success isn't just the result of Elon Musk's purchase, but it's also down to years of hard work on the business and the app itself. Looking forward to seeing Mastodon's growth.
