After a thorough analysis, we can confirm that this week is officially over and weekend started.

58.09% accuracy no aim assist. Gyro is awesome 👍 mapped to stick sadly, would be ever better mapped to mouse.

@nixCraft Usually it's polite to credit the person who came up with the joke yesterday.

A few moments ago docker reversed course on sunsetting free plans and announced they are keeping them! Smart move.

@ChrisPirillo via Wootmaster: “this meme has done legitimate damage to this website's finances and I think thats great”

@Crud3_Gamer @thevowel it is simply nicely tanned, plastic looks nicer with a healthy golden tan. 😄

i am more and more taking the position that we should have forums, and we should have blogs, and nothing in between. "social media" carries inherently poor ergonomics and a lack of clarity of purpose. you're never clearly "publishing" anything when you post on social media, unlike when you post on your own blog or website. you're never clearly "discussing" anything either, because threads aren't actual topics or conversations.

“Forced to eat crow” is an English idiom meaning the humiliation in admitting being wrong, which has never made sense to me because in fact crows are quite tasty.

FYI services (not the main mastodon instance) will be down for a bit as I am completely reworking the network and services and updating everything.

@trinsec @khird @barefootstache

So today's #WeirdCarMastodon #NameThatCar is a classic challenge; can you name it from the rear light, plus some bodywork!

A European car with some American DNA it sold in a lot of the "Anglosphere" markets, including the USA.

Please Boost to share and encourage others to have a guess.
Please use a Content Wrapper for guesses so they are hidden in the thread. Good luck.

I’m not going to lie and say that Linux is perfect and never gives me any trouble. Sometimes I do have to spend some time maintaining and fixing my Linux boxes when something goes wrong or needs updating. But I don’t mind that much, because I enjoy using Linux and learning new things along the way. I prefer fixing Linux boxes over Windows or Macs any day. Maybe it’s because I just don’t like Windows or MacOS very much and I find them frustrating and boring to use. So the idea of having to maintain and fix a box that I don’t like in the first place is more painful than doing it for a box that I love.

PS: I don't use Arch.

@DazzlingDamo looks like a Ford Capri. I always struggle to see Ford as European, sure a model may be Euro-centric and even designed in Europe, but Ford is American to the core in terms of its values, culture, policies, etc...

Much like I struggle to see Tacomas or Tundras as American, whilst yeah they are American models they are Toyota to the core in all the aforementioned ways.
