This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Oooh! #AmazonLuna is out in the UK! I had not noticed :) I will play later.
@vwdasher Just over 5.1m, which makes it shorter than mid-size pickups like HiLux and shorter than LWB SUVs, like the Defender 130, Suburban, etc... seems very space-efficient though.
Hardware is more tempting now with the existence of flash carts :) just one box and one cart and you can play everything!
@illusionofmana I see it now! It does look Mega Drive-ish.
@jimblimey I managed to stop buying old games :) I've not bought anything for a couple of years now I think. Running out of space did it :D

I keep finding myself wanting to give a home to poor unwanted unboxed SMS cartridges, whilst good for them its not good for my wallet or limited storage space
@illusionofmana yes. Those nice soft blues you have there would have been eye burning with EGA :)
@stevoooo Linux started asking for a root password where none had been set. I don't know if Debian messed itself up or something happened with the container side... anyway, restoring from a backup worked.
@illusionofmana wow! Is that equivalent to EGA? Looks like more colours, or at least a much nicer palette than usually with EGA.
@stevoooo If it makes you feel any better the Linux container in ChromeOS pooped all over itself and I had to restore it from a backup… from last year!!! Coz I had been lax with backups 😢 functional machine again just like it was before disaster after staying up till midnight.

Don't let your code go to waste!
Here are four good reasons you should create reusable and portable code
It enables others to
1. Reuse it
2. Test it
3. Improve it
4. Contribute those improvements back
At the end, It's better quality code for everyone.
@LouisIngenthron I assume first gear is low enough for it to climb a wall. 🤷♂️ 40? On a good day. 60 with a tail wind. 70 in your dreams.
This is the Force Citiline, an Indian people carrier / SUV thing with lots of space and a 90hp 2.6L diesel... You can all have your 500hp minuscule hatchbacks, this is what practicality is about over 5.1 metres of BOX! #WeirdCarMastodon
@ben sorry I mean that Google calls the Linux container for ChromeOS "Linux Beta". It has been Beta for ages! I'm running Bullseye in the container :)
@ben Linux Beta has been solid under ChromeOS for me until now. I hope it is a freaky one-off...
@ben I don't know what happened to mine. Every time I tried to use sudo it expected a root password (which it doesn't have!) I also couldn't see the Linux file system via the ChromeOS file manager. Only solution I had was to nuke it too.
