This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Lately, I've not been having a good time with GFN. Luna is silky smooth but GFN is skipping frames and has some latency that it didn't use to have. #cloudgaming

Every once in a blue moon, I still open Twitter to see what my dev peeps are doing. Many people are gone from Twitter, and engagement for those still active has gone off a cliff. Mastodon feels smaller than Twitter back in the day, but engagement seems on par now.
What's worrying is that engagement seems to have gone down for all #Scala channels, like #Reddit. My last blog post got the most visits from #LinkedIn.
Is this only a personal impression?

I am sorry to report that the last two publications recognizable as computer magazines in the classic sense have abandoned print. (You probably didn’t notice unless you were a subscriber.) I was moved to write a eulogy for the whole era. https://www.technologizer.com/2023/04/15/the-end-of-computer-magazines-in-america/

John Mastodon’s rocket wouldn’t have exploded. Just sayin’.

Breaking News: Elon Musk has asked NASA for technical assistance following SpaceX's failed launch attempt. NASA immediately responded with a poop emoji.
After moving on from Stadia to both an Xbox Series S and a Steam Deck I have to say that if I could only have a Steam Deck or an Xbox I’d choose the Steam Deck. It’s just more practical despite the super obvious lack of power compared to the Xbox. #gaming

Pope Francis lost his Blue Check status today because the Catholic Church wouldn’t pay $8/month to Twitter.
I guess the Pope sees Twitter Blue as a needless indulgence.
🤣
@atomicpoet it’s just a tick. I got one here and it is multicoloured and free! 😄

Successfully ported the #C64 #KERNAL and #BASIC to my small #ASM6502 #assembler.
Was able to produce exact replicas of the original ROMs. Nice to see the own built ROMs booting 😀
I lost all my progress. I had won every trophy… but does it matter? No! 😄
Yay!!! The Crew 2 is supported by GFN now! I can play the game I played the most on Stadia again 😄 via GFN on an Xbox… but it’s all good. #cloudgaming #GFN

ChatGPT's party trick would be a lot less impressive if the modern web wasn't such a hard to navigate mess.
@scooterama :( I got all the trohies for The Crew 2 on Stadia :( and it is al gone. I miss that game!
For some reason, I'm trying to come up with humorous nicknames for Steven Seagal, so far:
* Sensei Gravy Seal
* Sensei Lazy Peel
* Master Lazy Boy
* Mister Recliner Fighter
* Sensei Waddle Kick
* Sensei Cradle Snatch
* Sensei Flappy Wings
* Master Floppy Limb
* Sensei Cookie Lover
I hope nobody finds this offensive, but Steven Seagal is such a horrible man that he deserves to be a target of some of these names.
