This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Toyota’s 2023 Prius: Lamborghini looks meet fuel-sipping economy
There's a lot to like about this new hybrid, which starts at $27,450.
@solarisfire yes. It affected me but it is back now.
WOW! The #VirginMedia outage a lil while ago in the UK appears to have been a biggie.

@gamingonlinux games going in and out of playable with Proton is frustrating. I do hope that QAing with Proton becomes more and more common... Steam Deck is pretty much THE entry level PC now, it is a huge market!

I'm aware of the reports of Dead by Daylight now working on Steam Deck / Linux with Proton.
Haven't reported on it, as it wouldn't be the first time, and usually breaks again days later. This happens repeatedly with it and other games.
Have reached out to the developers.
@gamesthatwerent it strikes me that for films we have things like the National Film Registry in the United States whose sole mission is to preserve films. But there are no national efforts as far as I know for video games.
It's all left to individuals around the globe to do the work. And whilst this is great and I commend that work, I think we need to go bigger :) Video games are art worth preserving just like films.
I've had the misfortune of having to use Windows for work today and God I really can't stand it. The UI, the sounds it makes... it's all very FisherPrice my first computer like.
I am biased and I admit it.
@laukanhenkka I guess we saw the same thing.
Nooooooo! I've just seen the first scam MAstodon account!!!!
