This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Panos leaving Microsoft after creating and running the Surface hardware line over the past ten years to go work on Alexa & Echo devices is a massive W for Amazon and L for Microsoft.
Can’t see how this is anything but a bad sign for that line of products at Microsoft.

Unity has earned their name. They've united almost every developer against them.
@MissingThePt joking aside, I am still waiting for the temporary extra security measures that were added after 911 to go away. Any moment now travel will be back to normal... Still waiting.

“But that’s my emotional support oversized shampoo in my carry-on.”
Having enjoyed two #3d #games recently with simpler graphics (#Exoprimal and #Farlight84) I think I now want simpler graphics. Comparatively, I also tried playing #Starfield and sure it looks like your usual polished and hyper-detailed #Unreal game but I didn't enjoy it or its looks much. This also has the advantage that my #SteamDeck , #desktop , or #console isn't catching fire keeping up with the graphics.#gaming
So what I am saying I guess can be summarized as I value unique stylized graphics more than realistic especially when it comes with the added bonus of the game being more performant.

Unity apologises for the new runtime fee, say they will make changes https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2023/09/unity-apologises-for-the-new-runtime-fee-say-they-will-make-changes/
@gamingonlinux I think the damage is done, unless there's a complete change of management at Unity Technologies I think it is unlikely that the trust will not be regained.
@mikemathia Living dangerously! YEAH!
I felt compelled to order a #Farlight84 t-shirt. I hope it's good :D #gaming
I wasn't super mega keen on the #MarioMovie
It seemed like an extension of the old Mario 3 cartoon and it was entertaining enough, but at least to me it was a little meh.
Not a terrible video game movie but not exactly Ready Player One or Detective Pikachu.
I would have preferred it if Peach was more Peach like and of Mario spoke like Mario. That’s just two small changes I would have made.
@AnnieRat1 I have this one too, but it's not so special to me that I'd get a cover for it 😉

@gpowerf Sweet! My current daily driver is an AV modded NSTC Sears Telegames, just for something different, but my first was a Vader.
@AnnieRat1 I have a light sixer that I treat very well too 😃 looks as good as new.
@AnnieRat1 a heavy sixer! Very nice 👌

Usually only uncover this to give it a stroke 😄, but as I haven't fired it up in a while I thought I'd have a quick outdoor play before the crap weather sets in. Keyboard cleaning brush is perfect for the grooves!

The UK is going to ban 'XL bully' dog breeds. But the problem with those dogs isn't with the breed itself; it's with people who get them purely as a status symbol. The kind of person who gets a status dog isn't the kind of person who will train their dog properly. If they can't get an XL bully, they'll get a different "well 'ard" dog, such as a rottweiler, German shepherd or doberman - and then we'll see an increase in attacks from those breeds.
