This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

couldn’t remember the term for mind map and called it a think mess instead. everyone knew what I meant. i rest my case.
@BillFairchild there is a light dark mode there too.
@comrade_krampus it is an interesting moral question for sure. I lean more towards the consistency of AI, I honestly believe that will save more lives overall than the current state of affairs.

⚠️ Daily reminder that new folks are joining Mastodon everyday. You could make their day by interacting with their #introduction toot, giving them a follow or just saying hi.
Let’s build the community we want to see. One built on being kind, genuine interaction, and building others up as we’d like them to do for us 🤗

ZX Spectrum finally complete, pretty happy with it, a bit larger than original but not sure can be helped. Will put io file for download and instructions as soon as format them properly. Next version will be putting a Pi Zero and battery in #lego #ZXSpectrum

This cost me £125 (not £136, it seems the exchange rate changed before the PayPal payment went through) - but I've been after a Sharp MZ-6500 keyboard for ages
@hackernews@die-partei.social the counter argument to this is that the community is steadfast in the belief that crypto is the future and this is just another MtGox.

Anyone use Metatext? I’m looking for a way to hide non English posts from the app since I can’t read them and they don’t have a translate button.
@BillFairchild you can use a different app. Tooot on iOS does translations.
@MoreFunMakingIt nice thread. I’m feeling slightly inspired here. I might try and fix mine but I’m kind of scared I’ll wreck it!

BREAKING: Before Elon halted Twitter Blue yesterday, it appears that only 61,000 of the 450,000,000 active users on Twitter have subscribed, according to Mashable.
This would equate to $488,000 in revenue per month for Twitter or $5.8M a year.
It would take Elon 7,586 years to make back his $44B money at that rate.
@dafthack I’ll have to give this a go.
