To get the full Mastodon experience: be a participant, not an observer. Jump (politely) into conversations, reply to toots that interest you and boost ones that you want your network to see.
There is no algorithm here that will feed you content. You have to put in a little bit of work, and I promise that the result will be worth it: a cultivated community based on similar interests and goals. 
@gamingonlinux excellent work here :) I'm loving reading your stuff and it is encouraging me to either build a new gaming PC or simply get a SteamDeck.

Here's a bit more about that Rogue game. I wrote it using BASIC PLUS Extended mode.
You actually use very few line numbers in BASIC PLUS, it supports function definitions and matrix operations. I use virtual memory to store the game data.
I explain this in the alt text of the last two pictures.
I'm trying the cli client toot. Right now running it on the Linux container in ChromeOS.

If you've noticed your Home timeline here is pretty quiet it's because at the other place you were constantly hit with 'here's a tweet someone you follow has Liked', or 'here's another from someone you don't follow but someone you follow follows them!', or just general spam. So your timeline was constantly full of things you really didn't want to see and hardly any content you actually cared about.
In this place you only see posts from those you follow, so remember to boost the good stuff!

Framework laptops look incredible.
This insight into how well they, and the team behind them, react when things go wrong from @pluralistic is a reminder that their commitment to making laptops good for the USER again is solid.
My current 7th Gen i5 HP laptop is still working very well, I’m not replacing it any time soon, but when I do finally need a new #laptop it will absolutely be a Framework one.
@wiredfire @pluralistic wow! That’s really cool. I’m a big fan of products that are designed to be fixable. Plus they are well priced too.
