So, if Twitter goes to hell and just becomes defunct, we’re going to lose entire chapters of recent history — including evidence of war crimes, human rights violations, and more. I hope we’re all paying attention to this and considering what we need to do to ensure that a billionaire can’t decide which parts of history to retain — and which parts to erase forever.

Reading the exchange between #Musk and #EricFrohnhoefer it shows the modern man-child syndrome is more prevalent than one would expect.
Anyone half sensible would have said "Eric, I recognize you are the domain expert here, can we plan a way to improve things? I'd like you to lead those changes."
Instead the man-child said “He’s fired”
Thus confirming there are no limits to Musk’s monumental foolishness at #Twitter.

@greeblehaus I can envisage downtime coming as they struggle with such a small and disgruntled workforce. This will in turn anger regular users who then start to look for alternatives and thus the slow death starts. As traffic decreases, and technical issues increase less and less advertisers are willing to risk advertising in dying Twitter and funds run out. Twitter dead.

I use the #Twitter Android app and the performance is not particularly bad or notable in that way.
Still, we all owe #EricFrohnhoefer a debt of gratitude.
He knows his tech and is prepared to defend it in the face of #Musk's swagger and ignorance.

@thatanimeweirdo would you or anyone else want to work at a company like this? I can’t imagine anyone saying yes. I don’t know how Twitter will be able to recruit. Even if they throw half a million dollar salaries at developers surely they don’t intend to do the job for too long, it is danger money.
@andypiper @aallan I wish him good luck. I’m aghast seeing what’s going on at Twitter and the sheer unprofessionalism of the new management.

Whew. Almost done. I copied/saved 136 of my old #Amiga disks so far.
Only a few had read errors. Most of them I could fix by just reading the same track over and over again until there was no error. So far I had only 5 disks with really unrecoverable errors. I am impressed.
