This is my fun social media account, I will post a lot of video game stuff (mostly old or cloud gaming) and some work stuff.
If I post an image with no Alt text it is because the image is just there for decoration and doesn't provide any extra meaning to the toot.

Doing some research for fake 3D found again this gif about how Tomb Raider on the Sega Saturn drew 2D sprites & distorted to get the 3D feel. It always amazes me.
@bufetalmeida espero que no. No creo que la mayoría de la gente realmente considera Mastodon como algo que les gustaría usar. Es como Linux, no le gusta a todo el mundo.
I’m not saying that #Twitter is already dead, I’m certainly not saying that. But #ElonMusk ’s biggest mistake so far has been to think that a social media site is purely a tech company, it isn’t.
Sure a large component of it is code, infrastructure and databases. For all of that you need devs and IT staff. But the real value in a social media site is the community. And you need to understand the community to be able to foster and environment that allows it to thrive. #xp
@trinsec yeah I never quite understood why we went wireless for all this stuff. Specially mice and keyboards, the PC is right next to them why do you need the added complication of wireless?

Ever since I got my Turtle Beach Recon controller I’ve hardly used the official Microsoft pads. Long gone are the days when the official controllers are the best controllers. This is specially so on Switch where the official units don’t last very long at all before developing drift.
Right now this Turtle Beach is my number 1 choice. Plus it’s wire. I like that. #xp #gaming
@sohanlon@fosstodon.org Space Karen? 😂😂😂💀💀💀 I’ll never think of him as anything else.

Trying to get all your mutuals and interesting followers from Twitter but it's like trying to find your friend on the Titanic as it's sinking.

Twitter today reminds me of a BBS in 1980s St. Paul that was left running when the computer store closed. It continued to operate for weeks.
@benjedwards thankfully I get on very will with my ex-military neighbour.

I’ve recently stopped thinking of my neighbors as just neighbors. Now they’re “people who might help me survive the apocalypse”

And it gets even better
The first #elonmusk cultists are offering their help to keep #Twitter up and running tonight.
The #TwitterTakeover might turn from a #Netflix documentary into an epic drama series with at least 5 seasons.
There's so much to unpack here that you probably need a whole new subreddit for all the memes we could create from this.
Wow... just WOW!

It looks like another surge of twitter users might be on the way... One user just mentioned some drama over at twitter with musk locking out employees. I looked at the users bot (see attached quote) and youll notice a distinctive spike starting to form off to the right... here we go

One thing that's getting a little lost in this mix, is that some of the people desperately holding on at Twitter are because they are trapped by either healthcare or visas.
That there are systemic traps that trap worker in America so they feel unable to move freely to new employers who want them and would have better pay or conditions is *nuts* and deserves a lot more attention than it gets.

As Twitter collapses in on itself, I just want to say hello and thank you to everyone on here.
It is a very welcoming and dynamic atmosphere on Mastodon.
One week in and I'm almost at 500 followers.
Hope everyone enjoys my #History content going forward!
Wouldn't it be funny if Google Stadia outlives Twitter?

If twitter goes down, Jon Bois tweets will be the things I miss the most
We saw this play out on #Twitter with our own eyes. We say Elon himself sabotage the company. Nobody else is to blame.
