I think I found the Mastodon App that I'm gonna stay with.
I tried the official app, Tusky, Twidere, Twidere X, Tooot, and some other.
I think I'm gonna stick with Fedilab from the Android Play Store.

Cost me like 2 bucks for a lifetime licence.

Parenting, children

It makes me so happy and proud to see my daughter being so friendly and polite. She's just a lovely person to be around.

It feels like Mastodon is one really great third-party client away from being mainstream-ready, on the UX front at least.
The same thing happened with Twitter years ago: Third-party apps like DestroyTwitter, Tweetie (which became Twitter for iPhone), and Tweetbot helped redefine the mainstream UX of the service, in a hugely positive way. (Until Twitter shut a lot of them down, anyway, but that’s a different story…)

Does your ISP offer IPv6?

boost for visibility, thanks

@gpowerf @gamemistress When I decided to start up my collection again a few years ago I made the decision to only pick up a few key titles for each console and then use other means to play games on them as well.

We all know that retro gaming prices are insanely expensive.
in my latest video I am doing my every day retro gaming shopping hoping to find cheap prices until i come across these insane prices.

@gamemistress same. If I find something well priced I still buy it, but I also have flash carts for almost all my systems.

@gamemistress we got to the point where I am comfortable saying that it is OK to collect reproduction carts or simply play off flash carts.

#Ubuntu / #Debian technical question. Is there a command to automatically enable `deb-src` URIs?

@gpowerf agreed entirely. I get the basis of the quarrels but I’m not sure they’re being resolved in the best way. But hey, that the beauty of the platform really and we can hop servers if we dislike how ours is managed.

For me I’m liking mas.to very much, doesn’t seem to be catching flack haha!

Good God, I'm watching the England v Iran game and I cannot believe that football has so far to go in terms of player safety.

The Iranian goalkeeper looked unwell, probably concussed, confused, and unsteady on his feet yet was allowed to play on!

The usual complaint is that players get paid too much, but surely there's also a duty of care towards the players. This guy should not have been allowed to play.

@InternetOfGames@awscommunity.social I fully realise this. Its such a shame that much of the gaming community doesn't and they are still obsessed with optical media and small local boxes being the only way.

@wiredfire I'm new here and recently realised there is such a thing as Mastodon politics.

I'd not like to see Mastodon separate into factions/nations.

Thank you to everyone that has favourited, boosted and followed me. I'm VERY grateful. And thank you to @bbcmicrobot for the kind momentum!

@InternetOfGames@awscommunity.social 100% in agreement. I'm adamant that the next big step in gaming is coming from the power that the data centre can give you.

The cloud gaming revolution is unstoppable because of this.
