Musk, Twitter nonsense

@wiredfire I really think this will then boil down to him saying he is recruiting a CEO and it going till he gets bored because nobody is as capable as him.

On a slightly separate note, Tesla absolutely needs to get rid of him as CEO. After Twitter, I can't see how investors would ever trust any company where Elon holds any power.

@kurtsh I really love this game too and it is currently taking pretty much all of my gaming time.

@Retrosponge it hasn’t annoyed me too much till the “you can’t link outside Twitter”. That really got to me, that guy such a hypocrite! Talks and talks about free speech and his actions prove that he doesn’t care about free speech at all.

It feels weird to completely love a video game that so many people seem to hate. is taking over 90% of my gaming time. When Stadia was I got an Xbox Series S thinking I’d be playing a lot of and , but nope, I don’t really like these games much… but I do love Halo!

The group of people who are trying to divide the fediverse seem to have reached a new low.. They have a tool that lists how many instances block a particular instance, but it is highly manipulative.

For starters it is hand curated.. so they exclude blocks against their own instances and only includes instances they actually dislike.

Worse yet they curate a list ordered by "most blocked".. problem is they use the number of instances that block. They game the system by having large number of single-user instances. So instances in the top 50 may only be blocked by a few hundred people but still appear as if the blocks are significant....

This is why we need transparency, its why we need the UFoI.org

@dangillmor I trust him even less. There are 9 hours to go, enough for him to rig the vote. Anyway, I voted to keep him, I want him to go down with the ship full of crap he created.

Anyway, as you said either way he still owns it. Ultimately using Twitter is supporting him.

If Musk "steps down" as Twitter CEO, per his latest bogus "poll", some things to remember:

1) He'll still be the owner, and the owner makes the rules the CEO carries out.

2) He lies incessantly. Nothing he says can be trusted, ever.

3) Big Journalism will breathlessly cover the charade as if it meant something, and will continue to support a man who loathes honest reporting and has contempt for genuine freedom of expression.

@TonjaMReynolds it doesn’t compute does it? People are leaving en masse and what does he do to stop them? Suspend and ban them? 🤦‍♂️🤔 Elon operates in idiotic ways.

Tonight I saw an article that said Twitter accounts are being suspended if they include social media user names for other platforms. I guess my account will get suspended. Whatever. Suspend everyone. Great idea.
