Set myself a little programming challenge of writing a usable UDG designer for #zxspectrum in #BASIC
I have written one before that was incredibly slow and lead to me writing a #Z80 graphic tile designer but that is a story for a different time

@carnage4life I agree with Ford. BYD is going to be number 1 in terms of numbers soon, in terms of innovation NIO is arguably at the top, and whilst CATL isn’t a car maker it is Chinese and this potentially gives Chinese EV makers an advantage as they lead the battery race.

Sounds like Ford is competing for second place when they reference GM & Toyota who are nowhere in the EV business but not Tesla.
This just comes across as a festival of market losers. Seems no car maker in the US cab catch Tesla.

@freemo I literally cringe every time I read he will speak somewhere, I don't know where it is going to go. Anything is possible! He could stumble and fall, fumble his words, forget where he is, forget where he is going, forget his own name, forget what planet he is on, think he's meeting with Julius Caesar, think he is married to Marilyn Monroe, he could even play with his own faeces at this stage and I'd not be surprised!
I'm surprised he stood last election, and even though he won, I don't think he should stand again. I'm absolutely positive there's got to be a bright and younger Democrat who could do well.
@billgoats I'm generally divided about things like this, on the one hand wearing a seatbelt is easy, common sense, and saves a lot of lives. On the other hand, everything carries an inherent risk and allowing people to make their own choices strikes me as true freedom.
So I never know where to draw the time, mandate seatbelts, helmets, etc... or let everyone take their own risks and deal with the consequences.

Omg.. in #Linux I can use rclone or OneDriver for on-the-go access to OneDrive files and mount OneDrive client to AN EXTERNAL DRIVE for full local sync!!
I’ve wanted to be able to do something like this with Windows for ages!
So I can plug in a 2TB external to sync down everything then still access files despite the piddly 256GB SSD in my laptop, which is obs far too small for full sync.
This is actually an *improvement* on how I use it in Windows 🎉🥳🍾
