If you see this toot (yeah this one right here), can you boost it for me? It will help my new server federate with the wider Mastodon network. 🚀 🙏

Hello! Some of you may know me on Twitter. My name is Lord Arse and retro computer and video gaming is my thing. If you want to follow me (I'll probably follow back if I can figure out this crazy new site) then please do so :)

it was a bit fussy at first but after some jiggling of the RAM board, it lives!

how about some llamatron #retrocomp #retrogaming #classiccomputing #Atari #AtariST

I want to echo what other Mastodon admins are saying: please report any harassment or violative messages you're seeing. Unlike the birdsite, your local admin will likely react quickly -- and you'll make the instance better for everyone, not just yourself.

So... please don't just ignore! Let us know if there's a problem.

Migrated from Twitter to Mastodon but finding it hard to find the folks you used to follow?

Fedifinder can help. https://fedifinder.glitch.me

Cool tool for finding your old Twitter buddies that have moved to Mastodon (and what you can do on your Twitter account to help others find you here)

Please reblog/boost to spread the word. (Liking/Favouriting won’t help)

The lack of hate, personal attacks and filth here, compared to Twitter, is amazing. Let Elon keep the cesspool.

Another 8-bit poll

sometimes I feel bad after I dump a game for being too frustrating. I did that last night with one that required the use of layer shifts and even when the game was vaguely playable it was like

wow I followed the instructions now I'm stranded in space. very cool. (Uninstalled)

Cool, You can have Animated (GIF) Avatar😍🤔

New folks, just a reminder: continue to follow and unfollow people, curate that nice home timeline of yours. Be curious and open up profiles of everyone you see here — whether that’s from a boost or a reply from an existing follower to someone else. Good luck!

P.s. Keep posting about your day and thoughts like it’s 2007 and Twitter hasn’t yet taken off. Just vibe. We’re all here to chill. Mostly. Find your community, not an audience.

No episode of On Deck today. After talking to students all day my voice is just gone. I'm getting better though and will be back at the microphone ASAP! Sorry all!

According to Microsoft's Matt Booty, the studio knows the Halo Infinite multiplayer struggled at launch, and now the FPS game is trying to make up for it #HaloInfinite https://gamesense.co/game/halo-infinite/news/discuss/halo-infinite-multiplayer-stumbled-at-the-finish-line-says-microsoft/

I've got a lot of things in my #gaming collection, but I'd say this CIB copy of #PhantasyStar (And the two Game Gear titles) are the prize of my collection.

I love the first Phantasy Star. I don't know what it is, but since I first played it, I've been obsessed with it. I've bought at least 6 different copies of the game. Hell! I've been using one of the dungeon themes as my ringtone for my phone for the past 20 years.

Like, I love the series, but that first game... I love that first game.
