This is bad, very bad.

Thinking about taking your computer to the repair shop? Be very afraid

@gpowerf not to the level of PDS I think, but it's up there. I think quite a lot of Saturn games are pricey now.

Can't find any photos of them, and don't have it to hand right now. Here's it being played on my little Trinitron though 🙂

@gpowerf yup, I also have Panzer Dragoon Saga. I bought it from a second hand shop for £30 with a Japanese white analog controller. This was a long time ago though! Also: Burning Rangers, can't remember how much I paid for that one, but definitely not much at all

@gpowerf Wow! This is actually... really cool? Peripheral augmentations! Good stuff! Let us know how it goes for you. I'm genuinely keen.

Researchers using Twitter's firehose—a feed of every public tweet, like, retweet, and reply—have found evidence that hate speech is more widely shared on Twitter since Musk took over. I think this is something we all suspected and saw anecdotal evidence of, but this is some of the first data showing it.

“The toxicity of Twitter has severely increased post-Musk’s walking into that building," one of the researchers behind the work says.

Why does Mastodon always flag console pictures as "sensitive content" for me? 😂

How does this appear to others?

I ran @coprolite9000's program and got this.

Me settling in with my Mastodon elders.

How about some more #retrocomputing pictures? Let’s concentrate on my MSX addiction. I think this is most of them, there’s at least two more somewhere, including one boxed Casio. But I’ve sold a few too. This tweet will be public, but all the pictures will be unlisted, so follow the thread

I've been using #Chromebooks since the start, and it's absolutely astonishing how far these things have come over the past decade.

Equally astonishing is how many people STILL misunderstand #ChromeOS and think it's exactly the same as it was in 2011.

That's why I put this little "quiz" together — to have something to send folks when they ask me if they should use a Chromebook and if it's true that ChromeOS can't do x, y, or z.

Pretty handy. Feel free to use it, too!

@jerry @mitka There is so much truth in this quote by MLK:
"Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men."
