I think I have figured out what Twitch is. A Twitch stream is an IRC channel with a master of ceremony.

3 old that may "never" die:

1) Minecraft: I just don't see it going away in the next decade at all, this game will keep on going and going and going.

2) Fortnite: Some would say that Fortnite peaked in 2018, and that it is no longer culturally relevant but the reality is that it is making a lot of money and more and more kids play it. I just cannot see Fortnite going away for over a decade either even if it isn't the game that everyone talks about anymore.

3) Grand Theft Auto V: I have no idea why this game continues to be popular, but at this stage it would be foolish to bet against it. This game will probably be here for over a decade.

Sad day, may be gone but It won’t be forgotten. A very interesting in chapter In history. bbc.co.uk/news/technology-6429

My spouse wanted to get me a new computer for my upcomming birthday. But no, I want my child to get a new computer, and I want to put #Linux on the old one. I've been happy with this 2013 #iMac with #Ubuntu, until the audio card started crashing.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but after owning a for a little while it is mostly a console. really is a distro that’s close to totally gaming centric.

Upcoming #ChromeOS screen capture feature will make remote instruction even easier tchlp.com/3Wjahrj

@gpowerf All this stupid stuff Elon Musk is doing:
1. Selling verified accounts
2. Taking money for political ads
3. Eliminating ethics policies & filters
4. Unbanning Trump, etc.
5. Cutting 75% of Twitter employment
6. Stiffing partners for services rendered
7. Forcing users to use the official client
...this is all penny ante shit. Petty cash. None of this'll generate $1B & screams desperation. It's so dumb that I think it's more likely performative drama to 'show banks he's trying'.

My dream video game controller would include the following features:

* Offset sticks
* Gyro
* Touchpad
* Fully remappable:
- All buttons are remappable.
- Gyro can be remapped to any analogue input including the mouse.
* Vibration fully adjustable: strength as well as on/off.
* 4 back buttons that click.
* Multiformat.
* Wired and wireless.

3 years ago I got this. The adaptor using with the Hyperkin Hyper Blaster HD lightgun for modern TVs. It basically updates the Duck Hunt code to accommodate the added delay introduced by the TV.

Isn’t it incredible that two years ago you’d struggle to run this game well on anything other than high end PCs or Stadia and today it is running great on a handheld.
