I have been testing out quite a lot of products lately for $reasons. And this one is the first one where I’ve been genuinely massively impressed. The product is made by a brand called “GoVee”. It’s a temperature and humidity sensor with an inbuilt display.
Firstly it’s small, innocuous, neat and just works right out of the box but second, for a (cheap, I assume Chinese) product, the app is… great! This is so rare.

The product is usually OK but the app is shit. Not in this case. The app “just worked” immediately.
Paired up, instantly started drawing graphs etc. Kind of curious to see what else GoVee makes as it’s a brand I’ve been dimly aware of in the smart lighting area for a while.

@guardeddon @bloor I only discovered recently. Some cool work has been done on these devices. I was impressed the reflash is all over the air.
