Right-to-repair/#repairability gripe. I have a Bosch/Dremel dry cell battery powered tool, a cell leaked & damaged its battery holder.
But that’s OK, #Bosch/#Dremel list a replacement on their support site.
BUT adding to basket reveals that it’s ‘obsolete’ - a component of a still sold item is obsolete?
YES, obsolete, confirmed by email, presumably from a human at help desk.

A homespun fix will comprise a few eBay sourced battery terminal springs & careful soldering.
