Feels like this whole problem of Blue bubble/Green bubble is so American? I don't know anywhere else in the world its such a big problem?

@cubicgarden I was always aware that blue meant encrypted and green wasn't, but never saw it (or heard it referred to) as a problem for anyone.
What's the perceived "problem”?

Blue indicates Apple’s iMessage, yes encrypted but internet based messaging.
Green is plain old GSM spec SMS. If you’re not on an all inclusive texts tariff, you’d know all about it!!
