There is something contradictory about a government that presides over a situation where regulation of cellcos failed to spot the gaping whole in security of personal communications (access to voicemail), that permits official communications to be conducted over a network (encrypted) operated by a foreign power, yet seeks to deny its citizens access to secure encrypted communications.
