When I choose to buy from Amazon I typically select cheapest shipping & bundle everything together. It no longer seems possible to select Royal Mail, I have more confidence the postie will deliver than a guy in a grey van.

For all its faults, Mastodon is the better platform for people who care about having control over their data. It's definitely not perfect in that regard either, but at least it tries.

Just wanna say, team: fuck Bluesky and Twitter. The support I get for my work here on Masto is so much better. There’s a culture of boosting stuff we love and I appreciate it so much, as a creative person who relies on shares to bring in new readers and ultimately pay my bills, and invoices from other creative people.
