@jimiadams I just started using Mastodon for real. Do you know about literature estimating epi parameters in sexual contact networks?
@gvegayon it wasn't "attacked" so much as pointed out as being based on some substantially faulty assumptions (due largely to not knowing sexual behavior literature), which were pointed out empirically at the time & the implications of which have been worked out in subsequent modeling work.
