I know it's kind of bad form to just link to twitter but this is a really fun thread by a Toronto historian

@trinsec he does those regularly. wish he was on Mastodon.
@digits @herid @trinsec But @adambunch has an account here … I’m half way through his book The Toronto Book of the Dead - audiobook narrated by himself. So good.
@Ainsley @digits @trinsec @adambunch
Thanks. I didn't know as he doesn't have it in his twitter bio and never mention in his tweets. He doesn't appear to be using the account. As suggested I did ask him on twitter to start posting on Mastodon.
@herid i wonder if a lot of people jumped to make an account but are waiting to see how everything plays out. It’s taken me a while to find people to follow and almost gave up because learning something new feels…hard…some days 😂
@Ainsley yes, many people made mastodon accounts just in case but are not using them. I used deberdify
https://debirdify.pruvisto.org/
to find many of the people I follow on twitter on mastodon. I rerun it every day as this number is slowly growing.
@herid cool thanks!!!
@herid That was an interesting read.
