@hesgen Last week Alastair Campbell revealed that his political podcast cohost and former Cumbrian MP Rory Stewart had once helped set up and promote an organisation devoted to opposing wind farms in the Lake District because of the threat he thought they posed to tourism. I thought at the time that it was hugely ironic that having a vast nuclear tip was probably a bigger threat to the holiday industry and that it got far less attention.
