@hesgen imo nobody knows their effectiveness, can predict how they’d behave on upscaling, what the damage would be, or ways of optimising them. Don’t approve what you don’t understand.
- By all means get intensive open research going asap
- no approvals in this area until large scale environmental and ecological impact trials are complete
- What is urgent and well understood is turning the carbon tap sharply down now, and off shortly. There’s no magic painless CDR fix.
