@hesgen interesting. I once spent a while chatting to some researchers at the University of York about extracting energy from sewage. They were developing a rig that could operate at the scale of a UK sewage works to at least power the operations of the plant. A big focus was creating value from the sewage so less of it was dumped into rivers. The huge amounts of fats that end up in the sewage system were a particularly target. To be honest I think they were just pleased to meet anyone who was prepared to chat while not gagging on the stink.

When will ppl realize that the laws of phsics which are heating up the planet don't give a shit whether the CO2 we emit into the atmosphere came from a fossil fuel or an identical hydrocarbon from a non-fossil source.
