If Tory rule is so damaging, why does Labour offer so little to reverse the damage? Maybe the Tories aren't so bad after all, and better the devil you know, etc., etc.
I can see such logic playing on the minds of many undecided voters in the coming general election.
In its later years, the Blair government was a statist, securocratic mess, but at least it started out with good intentions and actions. With no vavavoom to begin with, a Starmer administration is fated to fizzle out rapidly in political heat death.
@hesgen I genuinely can’t see anything they will do to reverse the damage. If they start as dishonest as they are now - and by god #Starmer is a liar - then we have absolutely nothing to hope for. Add his instinctive conservatism and dedication to fucking the poor and I can see zero point in voting for them. Worse than that actually: voting for them is actively dangerous and it continues the dangerous move to the right
