The man is a prize idiot. Does Starmer not realise how much energy is wasted by poorly insulated houses?

@hesgen The sad part is home insulation (walls, ceiling, windows, doors) means _nothing_ until you get every single last draft sealed off.
It's tedious and generally doesn't lead to big-ticket items to sell the consumer, thus it gets ignored. So people buy many thousands of dollars in super-insulated windows, doors, high-tech insulation products, heat pumps, yadda yadda. And their house is _still_chilly unless they run the heat all the time.
@hesgen to the impoverishment of the inhabitants, and increase in Greenhouse gas emissions....
