"Canada declares Flipper Zero public enemy No. 1 in car-theft crackdown"

Justin Trudeau is about as smart as his socks. To eradicate radio-frequency hacking one would need to ban electromagnetic radiation in total. The universe would say no.

As a radio scientist and engineer, I could intercept car door key codes using a relatively simple electronic device of my own construction. Any licensed radio ham can do it, should they choose.

As it happens, a Flipper Zero cannot be used to hack modern RF security systems. This requires a more sophisticated tool such a HackRF.

@hesgen @dangoodin @vu3rdd Scientist, engineers and ham radio operator are usually smart people because what they do requires skill. They also usually obey the law and have social competence. Thiefs are usually exactly the opposite and giving them a tool like this excessively empowers them.
